Flyin’ Hawaiian Zip-Line

We visited to experience the Flyin’ Hawaiian Zip-line tour. The staff was warm and welcoming. We harnessed up and donned our helmets. Some helmets have action camera (GoPro) attachments so bring yours! I've included a link to my action camera below.

We were given our complimentary souvenir water bottle and boarded UTV’s for a tour of the plantation. This tours ultimate destination was the zip lines. On the way we learned about local crops of pineapples and sugar cane. The on-site restaurant is a farm to table type with the food grown right on the plantation.
It was 7 am when we started and we hoped to be done in time for a lunch at the restaurant.
We reached the training zip line and went through safety briefings and equipment introductions. We learned some hand signals and prepared for our training zip line. As we lined up, we greeted our guides one on one, were locked in and took flight! Since this was a training line, it was short and I was focused on the hand signal training.
We all successfully completed training and rode back to the training hut.
It was here that we received the dreaded news.... weather conditions on the mountain were too intense for zip lining today!
We had to pack it in and ride back down. Fortunately, and even after all that we had experienced, we were given a chance to rebook or a full refund. Since it was our last day in the island, we had to refund.
In summary, even though we didn’t get the full experience, I had a great time and hope to be back!

We unknowingly booked through a third party (they refunded their cut in full too) but you may save a few bucks if you book direct with Flyin’ Hawaiian.
